Our Company

Magmix Engineering Ltd is a well established company within the many industries it manufactures for and supplies to. It has over 25 years experience in the supply of high quality stainless steel products to the brewery, food and pharmaceutical industries. These industries all demand the highest standards of workmanship to comply with the stringent hygiene and low contamination requirements imposed by this sector. Our customers can be confident in the knowledge that our products are manufactured to these high quality levels and by maintaining an effectively managed Quality Assurance System that the company is recognised and is accredited with of the ISO 9001 : 2000 standard. We have the in-house technical facilities to offer a wide variety of designs to meet the requirements of both the recognised codes of practice and those specific to individual clients. Our experience and expertise enables us to offer a range of services from the design and manufacture of one-off items to multiple order fabrications.

Our Facilities

Our modern, purpose built workshop is fully equipped with a dedicated Machine Shop and Main Fabrication and Welding areas enabling us to manufacture numerous fabrications from materials such as mainly Stainless Steel to Mild Steel efficiently and economically to a high standard. All our time served tradesman are fully coded welders in each of the TIG, MIG & MMA welding processes qualified to both EN287-1 and ASME 1X standards enabling us to manufacture insurance certificated vessels for many industries where this is needed we can also carry out repair work to vessels where needed and also the facilities to offer site based fabrication work if needed i.e. pipework installations, plant installations etc. Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) facilities can design many fabrications from vessels to handrailing from concept through to installation. We believe in using the most up to date methods for drawing and design, and can produce 2-D colour drawings in any size up to A1. Our Design Engineers are time served, hand picked craftsmen who take great pride in their work.

Our Product Range

The Magmix Range The Magmix Magnetic Mixer is a very versatile Stainless Steel bottom entry mixer with no mechanical seals which prevents any contamination risk This versatile mixer can mix volumes of 10 Litres up to 10,000 litres +.
The Surmag Range The Surmag Range Stainless Steel mixing head has no shaft or mechanical seals and is a bottom entry mixer adaptable to all vessels and very easy to maintain and is capable of low volume mixing.
Small Tank Fabrication Due to our expertise of our in-house craftsman we have the in-house capabilities of producing small vessel fabrication to a very high degree of precision and to produce a very high quality finish.

Surmet Valve The Series 1b and Series II Surmet Valve Is a flush fitting hygienic valve progressively developed over
many years and today is widely considered as being the ideal outlet valve for most Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food and chemical manufacturing processes.

The Series II Valve has been designed to incorporate the features demanded by the modern processing Industries and is widely accepted as the state of the art Bottom outlet valve in Food, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics applications	The series 1b valve is a conventional design with rotating hand wheel operation aimed specifically at the chemical market.
